A Senior Center Murder was a fast read, held my interest and was cleverly written.
However, I couldn't help feel that the book would have a very limited amount of readers. I cannot imagine anyone reading this book that didn't belong to the center, which is a shame.
The characters were fictional and yet I did not care for the feeling it left me about them. I do not see them in this light -- I would have preferred more humor. Seniors don't mind laughing about themselves and kind of enjoy the fact that they are seniors and can be who they are and really don't give a care and I would have liked to like the characters more and appreciate their feelings.
All in all I probably would read the next books but only because I like the center and would be curious to read anything written about it.
Also, it is unbelievable that any senior at the center could keep a secret -- they would run to Teresa immediately with any information they had ... this fact!
