Who says that a coal bucket has to hold coal? We believe in re-purposing -- that's why we have somebody's thrown out brass headboard giving new meaning to "flower bed" in our backyard!




First up, just saw this little guy in the garden yesterday. He was highly excited from his encounter with the butterfly bushes so I don't have any stills, but you can check out more pix of him.

Cheryl's hard at work on her newest book, Six County Senior Olympics. While she was doing research, she came across a reference to the natatorium mosaics at Maine East High School in Park Ridge. The principal let us in to see them (they're not open to the public!) and here are the photographs I took.

We have scads of flower photos but these are some I'm particularly proud of.
